We interview Kamran Pasha, a Hollywood screenwriter who served as writer and co-producer of Showtime’s Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated series, “Sleeper Cell,” a 2005 series about a Muslim FBI agent who infiltrates a terrorist group. Other TV shows that he has written or produced for include Roswell, Nikita, and Kings. Besides writing and producing for TV and Films, Kamran is also a published novelist. In 2009, his historical novel about the rise of Islam from the eye’s of Prophet Muhammad’s wife Aisha was published. We discuss Muslim representation in mainstream Hollywood Films and TV including the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel.
